ASEAN Audit Regulators Group
At the regional level, ACRA is part of the ASEAN Audit Regulators Group (AARG) which includes Indonesia's Center for Supervision of the Financial Service Profession (PPPK), Malaysia's Audit Oversight Board, Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission and Philippines's Securities and Exchange Commission. The AARG aims to foster closer collaboration amongst audit regulators and promote audit quality in the ASEAN region. The AARG discusses common issues relating to audit regulation and related key issues such as audit talent and engagements with the international audit firms at a regional level.
The AARG also helps other ASEAN economies develop their independent audit regulatory regimes via ways such as conducting audit inspection workshops for ASEAN audit regulators.
