Registered Filing Agents (RFAs) may appoint employees to perform transactions on behalf of their clients. These employees must be supervised by the appointed Registered Qualified Individual(s) (RQI) of the RFA and RQIs can maintain the list of employees under their supervision via BizFile+ using the transaction “Maintenance of Employees by QI”.
RQIs can also update contact details (e.g. contact number and email address) of their employees using the same transaction. This transaction can only be filed by the RQI himself and there is no fee payable for this transaction.
If the employee has ceased to be employed by the RFA, the RFA may also remove the employee via BizFile+ using the transaction “Maintenance of Employees by FA”. This transaction can only be filed by the authorised officers of the RFA (i.e. directors, secretaries, partners or owners). There is no fee payable for this transaction.
