An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a mandatory annual meeting of shareholders. At the AGM, the VCC will present its financial statements (also known as “accounts”) before the shareholders (also known as members) so that the shareholders can raise any queries regarding the financial position of the VCC.

All VCCs are required to hold AGMs. The date of the AGM is declared to ACRA when the VCC is filing its annual returns on the VCC Registration and Filing Portal.

Similarly, if the VCC is exempted from holding an AGM or has dispensed with the holding or AGM, the VCC would need to submit the details when filing its annual return.
